Announce your big day with a big confetti bang! These adorable DIY save-the-date invitations are the perfect first impression for your guests and your festive wedding soirée.

What you’ll need:
Party Poppers (found at most party supply stores)
Confetti (store bought or make your own with a hold puncher)
Invitations (the tutorial includes a confetti on a string invite but a small square of paper folded up works too)
Label Paper

Step 1: Disassemble the confetti shooter by twisting it so the confetti shoots out. Take off the label and remove all the pieces inside.

Step 2: Reassemble the canister and reset the spring so it is spring loaded. It is very easy to do and about takes 10 seconds.

Step 3: Fill the loaded canister with confetti and the invitation. Take the circle piece from the top of the canister, trace it on white paper and cut it out. Then place it on top like a lid.

Step 4: Take your new label and remove the backing. Starting at one side adhere the label, smoothing it as you go. When you are done add a piece of tape on the seam to keep it secure. Then press down the overlap on the top with your finger until it is sticking to the white “lid.” You don’t want to tape the lid down because the confetti will not launch correctly. The label paper is the perfect amount of stickiness to keep it secure but still allow the confetti and invitation to launch.

Voila!
